{"id":36,"date":"2026-04-02T15:20:00","date_gmt":"2026-04-02T15:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mlb.powertechsystems.eu\/?post_type=product&#038;p=36"},"modified":"2026-04-22T12:08:14","modified_gmt":"2026-04-22T10:08:14","slug":"bmv-700-battery-monitoring","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/mlb.powertechsystems.eu\/fr\/shop\/bmv-700-battery-monitoring\/","title":{"rendered":"BMV 700 Battery monitoring"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>BMV 700 Battery monitoring<\/h1>\n<p>BMV 700 Battery monitoring is an high precision battery monitor.<\/p>\n<p>The main function of a battery monitor is to calculate :<br \/>\n<div class=\"su-list\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-arrow-circle-o-right\" style=\"color:#1d4c1d\"><\/i> the ampere hours (Ah) consumed<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-arrow-circle-o-right\" style=\"color:#1d4c1d\"><\/i> the state of charge of the battery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p align=\"justify\">Besides, integration of the current flow over time gives the net amount of Ah charged in the battery or dicharged from the battery.<br \/>\n<strong>For example:<\/strong> a discharge current of 10A during 2 hours will take<br \/>\n10 x 2 = 20Ah from the battery<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The capacity of a battery is rated in ampere-hours (Ah). For example, a<br \/>\nlead acid battery that can deliver a current of 5A during 20 hours is rated at<br \/>\nC20 = 100Ah (5 x 20 = 100).<br \/>\nWhen the same 100Ah battery is discharged completely in two hours,<br \/>\nit may only give C2 = 66Ah instead of 100Ah (because of the higher rate of discharge and associated Peukert losses).<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong>Ampere hours consumed are calculated by integrating the current flowing in or out of the battery.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Battery fuel gauge, time-to-go indicator, and much more<\/h3>\n<p>The remaining battery capacity depends on :<br \/>\n<div class=\"su-list\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-arrow-circle-o-right\" style=\"color:#1d4c1d\"><\/i> the ampere-hours consumed<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-arrow-circle-o-right\" style=\"color:#1d4c1d\"><\/i> discharge current<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-arrow-circle-o-right\" style=\"color:#1d4c1d\"><\/i> temperature<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-arrow-circle-o-right\" style=\"color:#1d4c1d\"><\/i> aging of the battery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h3>Easy to install<\/h3>\n<p align=\"justify\">All electrical connections are to the quick connect PCB on the current shunt.
